Toledo is located at the crossroads of Interstate-75 and Interstates-80/I-90. I-75 runs north-south and offers a direct route to Cincinnati and Detroit. I-80/90 (the Ohio Turnpike) travels east-west. The Ohio Turnpike is connected to Toledo via exits 81,71,64,59 and 52.
Toledo also has two minor highway interstates. I-475 that starts and terminates on Interstate-75 in West Toledo and Perrysburg. I-280 runs through east Toledo, over the Veteran’s Glass City Skyway. It is easy and convenient to get to Toledo by Car via these highway interstates.

Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) offers public transportation service in Toledo. TARTA offers public bus service throughout Toledo. It has over 30 bus routes in and around the city. The buses run in Toledo and neighbouring areas, including Waterville, Maumee, Rossford, Sylvania, Ottawa, and Sylvania Township.
TARTA also offer special buses for disabled riders- the Toledo Area Regional Paratransit Service (TARPS).
